Woolfe Street Playhouse is excited to host comedian and former Charleston local Dusty Slay on Sunday, August 28th. He will be joined by comedians Hannah Hogan and Evan Berke.
Dusty Slay currently resides in Nashville, TN where he performs and tours regularly. He has been featured on NBCs Last Comic Standing, LAUGHS on FOX, The Bob and Tom Radio Show, and TMZ. His debut album Making That Fudge was released in 2014 and received positive reviews. During his time in Charleston, Slay was a two-time recipient of the City Paper’s Best Local Comic award, and a two-time winner of the Charleston Standup Comedy Competition.
Hannah Hogan is an actress, stand-up comedian and writer. She starred in the City TV comedy series Meet the Family, and was nominated for the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Writing. Hannah also won a Canadian Comedy Award for her performance in the hit YTV sketch comedy show Thats So Weird, which aired for three critically acclaimed seasons. She travels North America performing stand-up comedy and recently performed at Just For Laughs in Toronto.
Evan Berke began his comedy career in Charleston. He now resides in New York City where he works at a creative agency and is the resident emcee of the PechaKucha NYC chapter. He can also be found hosting, producing, and performing regularly in New York’s entertainment scene. During his time in Charleston, Berke was the Director of Comedy at the JAIL BREAK music and arts festival.
Dusty Slay, Hannah Hogan, and Evan Berke will be performing at Woolfe Street Playhouse on Sunday, August 28th; doors at 7PM and show at 8PM.
